The TD800-HVY hi vis head and neck gaiter from Occunomix provides a UPF 50+, blocking 98% of UV rays.

Made by Occunomix; a company with nearly 30 years of experience with a variety of cooling products.  The newest and most advance edition of their cooling line is the Tuff and Dry^® Wicking and Cooling series.

The secret is in the cooling gaiter fabric. Occonumix teamed with CoolCore^®, a leading textile innovation company to develop this product.  The cooling gaiter fabric is made with hollow fibers that are engineered with holes to help wick water away. Once water is inside the fiber, the water disperses across the fabric to avoid saturation and accelerate drying, allowing the waters natural property of evaporation to take over.  Air flows around the fiber and you stay cooler for up to 2 hours.

To activate the fabric, simply wet with a little water from a bottle, or even your own sweat.  The most important step is to “snap” the fabric a few times when wet to “jumpstart” the fabrics lasting cooling effect.  Within 60 seconds, you will feel the difference.
