Customer Reviews

We Really Liked This! Review by DFDK9
The Nite-Dawg LED collar is based on a simple concept – put an LED light into a collar to make the whole collar glow a bright red so your dog can be seen at night. As such, it delivers exactly what it promises – a light-up collar that ensures you can see your dog and that others, such as drivers of cars or trucks, can see your dog during hours of darkness or low light.

This is very useful for me because it allows me to see where in the yard my dog is at. (Doubly useful because my yard is not fenced and backs up to train tracks.) It’s useful to others who walk their dogs alongside roads, too.

The collar is water-resistant (not waterproof, so it’s probably not a good choice if your dog is going swimming), and the battery lasts for up to 150 hours. The collar also comes with the battery installed … which is a good thing because I don’t have any round 3 volt batteries in my battery assortment on a regular basis. It takes CR2032 batteries, which are used by many types of watches and are easy to get and inexpensive.

Bottom line – we liked it and it’ll be living close to our patio door for easy on/off when Ronja goes outside.
