Edge Dakura Safety Glasses
Wolf Peak International, Inc., creators of Edge Eyewear, uses innovated technology to create ANSI safety-rated eyewear for use throughout the United States and Canada’s industrial, hardware, and utilities work force.
The Edge Eyewear Dakura safety glasses with non-polarized clear lens allows 85% of light to pass through its clear lens making it great for indoor use or in conditions that have low light visibility. In addition to non-polarized lenses, the Edge Dakura safety glasses lenses are also anti-fog coated providing increased clarity in humid, hot, or cold conditions. Choose from clear, smoke, or yellow safety glasses lenses.
Unlike the traditional thermoform lens, Edge Eyewear uses polycarbonate lenses, with its injected molded lenses containing ionized crystals that filter light. These polycarbonate lenses are also ANSI rated as it also meets the intense impact standards required by ANSI Z87+.
All Edge Eyewear are tested in independent laboratories for compliance with ANSI Z87.1 +2015 standards. These tests consist of high mass impact testing; resisting a 500mg spoke that is dropped from a height of 50 inches, a penetration testing; resisting penetration by a 1.56-ounce weighted needle dropped from 50 inches, and a high velocity impact test where a 6.35mm diameter steel ball travelling at 45.72m/s crashes into the frames and lenses of the glasses. Edge Eyewear uses innovation and use of technology to provide safety glasses that help keep your eyes safe from hazards.
