The Werner Roofing Safety System by Werner provides a complete OSHA and ANSI compliant fall protection solution for the roofing contractor.  The system is designed to keep you safe and allow you to stay productive. 

Inside the carrying bucket is a universal harness, 30’ or 50’ rope lifeline with 3' lanyard and temporary steel roof anchor.  It’s an all-in-one color-coded safety system for the roofer.  Bright red, the temporary anchor is easily identifiable, the hinged D-ring provides range of motion.  Installation is quick and easy with the provided screws, utilizing the middle set of holes. 

The robust 5,000-pound rated design makes the anchor fully reusable.  This anchor is compatible with most roof peaks, trusses and sheathing.  The 30’ or 50’ rope lifeline and 3' attached lanyard allow for an expanded safe working area on the roof top.  The rope lifeline attaches to the roof anchor with a double locking snap hook, requiring two actions to open.  The rope is constructed of high quality polydac to resist abrasion and UV.  A manual rope adjuster allows for travel up and down the rope simply by squeezing to move.  The yellow 3’ lanyard incorporates an energy absorber to safely reduce forces in the event of a fall. The 3’ length ensures the lanyard can be positioned out of the work area, aiding productivity.

The universal harness is blue in color, featuring a light weight and fully adjustable design to ensure a safe fit.  The harness should be fit snug to the wearer.  Once properly done, the harness back D-ring is connected to the lanyard to complete the system.  Lanyard and web keepers maintain adjustment, manage web, and can reduce trip hazards.  The fall indicator label provides a visible warning that the harness has been exposed to a fall and needs to be taken out of service.

Label protection ensures product labels remain legible and compliant. Werner’s roof fall protection system's unique design ensures that in the event of a fall, the harness can be safely positioned on the user with a fully adjustable chest strap, inclusion of a back strap, and a sub pelvic strap that can be positioned as a seat.
