High visibility vests and jackets are designed by their very nature to be seen. If you were to include your company's name or logo on all the jackets worn by your crews, you can help spread your name to potential contractors. Also, there are times when several crews are hired to work together on the same project, so the people on your team will be able to tell which vests belong to your company and prevent the loss of important safety equipment.
At SafetyGearOnline.com we offer you a custom screen printing option to help customize your gear. Screen printing, sometimes known as silk screening, is a process of burning an image to a fine mesh, which has been stretched across a wooden or metal frame. Then the ink is transferred through the mesh to the garment.
Although multiple colored images/words are possible, it can be more expensive given the time required to prepare the multiple screens that are needed for multicolor projects. (Each color needs its own frame.) Therefore, if you are trying to be cost effective, we suggest using only one color for your order. Also keep in mind that not all colors of ink show up well on the various colors of fabric that are available. Black ink is always a safe bet because it will be visible on the fluorescent lime and fluorescent orange that make up the majority of our inventory.
If you have any questions about this process, or you are unsure while ordering, please contact us at (800) 429-0954, or by email at: CustomerService@SafetyGearOnline.com. Please follow the steps above to get started on your order.
- NOTE: To place an order for screen printing your garments, we suggest choosing the items you want printed on and place them into your shopping cart. Then, to use our Screen Printing Service; FIRST! , select from the "CHOOSE - # of Colors and # of Locations" drop down menu above the green "ADD TO CART" button. You will then see pricing and the steps to order your selection. Please follow the steps on this page and “ADD TO CART”.
